Notes on admission

It is important to be aware that the site is stringently controlled. Unsolicited or casual visits are not possible if you do not hold the correct MOD pass. Whilst we would love to welcome you, visits need to be planned and approved. So please contact a member of the committee to discuss arrangements which are needed. Decisions to grant access are not in the control of RNARS and the guard staff will require suitable photo ID, (normally a government acceptable or issued photo ID) to be provided on entry. No ID means no entry.

Please be aware that turning up without proper planning, or demanding access will show the society in a very dim light. The society may face sanctions, and officers of the society may be summoned to explain behaviour of members. The committee or other members cannot "vouch" for you just because you are a member.

Establishment Events - Volunteers required

These can be often due to service commitments where we wish to have the shack open or general open days. Volunteers would be welcome and may be sought to help, so do get in touch well ahead. Otherwise a fee may apply for admission on the day. The society will not refund any such costs. In addition, should members gain access to an event under the auspices of volunteering and then don't attend the shack or fail to materially contribute. Consideration may be made to refer the individual to the establishment command.
